I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the many years of service you have given not only our son Chet but our family as well. When Chet was in elementary school you started working with him both physically and mentally. You trained his body, but you also encouraged his mind. Very few people saw the kind of potential in Chet that you did, and we will forever be in debt for that. Now many years later he has accepted an offer to play football at The University of Texas. This is a great honor that is a culmination of all the hard work that started back when he was young. I have no doubt that both your training programs and your emotional encouragement played a significant role in Chet’s ultimate success. There are many people who work with kids. However I don’t know of anyone who surpasses both your knowledge and your heart for these kids. You truly love what you do, and love the kids in your program. The world needs more people like you.

TJ & Dana,
I wanted to let you know how much my wife and I appreciate the attention you have given to our son. Not only through the weekly workouts and after hours questions. You have definitely made a positive impact on Conner and have given him someone to look up to. In today’s world many people and programs are dedicated to personal gain. You have done more for my son in the last 9 months than I have been able to do in the last 13 years. I am jealous yet appreciate the fact that you are without a doubt a positive role model and look forward to seeing where this goes in the years to come. You have my upmost respect and appreciate everything you have done for my son.

“Blake continues to make significant strength and size gains through his work with TJ Garza. His overall basketball performance and confidence level have increased dramatically with TJ’s personal attention to his development as an athlete and young man.”
At an early age, we recognized our sons (Theo Ross) athletic ability and wanted him to develop in a safe yet effective manner. In 2004, we had the opportunity to see TJ Garza’s training techniques and asked TJ to train Theo. Theo has been training with TJ for the last four years. TJ has trained Theo for football, basketball and track. Theo has been a starter and major role player on all his teams. In Junior High he was awarded the “Best Back” award in football, “Overall MVP” in basketball, and “Best in Field – Track & Field”. This 2008 select AAU basketball season, Theo was awarded the “Overall MVP” on the TX Extreme. As an 8th Grader, Theo was selected to attend the Schuman’s Top 100 Combine (an accomplishment usually reserved for high school athletes). Theo is now starting on his freshmen football A-team as Quarterback.
We have developed a tremendous amount of trust in TJ after years of success due in part to his training techniques and knowledge of the industry. TJ tailors his training for each position the athlete plays. His physical training techniques’ are unique and extremely effective. TJ’s connections and knowledge of the industry are equally impressive. TJ’s advice is straight forward, honest and in Theo’s best interest. TJ’s recommendations have helped us gain positive exposure for Theo. As a freshman in high school, we are already receiving letters from various agencies. With TJ’s help, we are confident that Theo is on track to receive an attractive athletic scholarship.
Our son Osas Ebomwonyi is s senior at Pflugerville High School. My son’s athletic ability and his height at 6’8 just was not enough to get looks from any colleges prior to this summer. My family entrusted TJ Garza with our son’s future and boy did it pay off. Osas went from nothing to five pision I offers from Montana, Lamar, Sam Houston, Citadel and Centenary all from April 2008 to July 2008. We owe a great deal to Mr. Garza for helping our son to have the opportunity to play at the next level and get a college scholarship.
Thanks again TJ Garza

I have known TJ Garza for 6 years. In business, he is extremely professional. I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know him and his family on a personal level. His commitment to both is none like I have ever witnessed. T.J. is energetic, dedicated and, above all, caring for the kids that come into his life via business. His knowledge of how to work with kids is outstanding. He has been a loyal business associate as well as a friend.

TJ Garza’s company Speed Killz Period is a source of legitimacy in the athletic arena with speed development and explosive movements and his services are in high demand from all levels of competitions. His clients range from professional and collegiate athletes to high school and middle school age athletes. His ability to attract people who want and need his services is a testament to the quality of his company and the curriculum in his field of expertise. The honesty and integrity of T.J. Garza is just as important as the professional credentials he carriers. He is clearly outstanding in these areas as well. I will continue to support his company as long as the results are on a championship level and the character is of the same high caliber I have witnessed the last three years for our kids.
Having three sons, I have run across numerous coaches and trainers. Without a doubt, TJ’s training methods are the most effective I’ve found to optimize an athlete’s physical and mental edge. What sets TJ apart from every other trainer is how well he understands and loves kids; he knows how to build character and get the most out of a developing athlete. As a longtime client of Speed Killz, I have witnessed rapid and measurable improvement in my son’s performance.
As a physician, I respect TJ’s expertise in rehab/recovery from injury and his training for injury and his training for injury prevention. I have sought his opinion and expertise on many occasions. I can tell you his methods are medically and scientifically sound. He stays current on the latest recommendations in nutrition as well as strength and conditioning. I trust him with my children – need I say more.

TJ & Dana Garza have been working with our two oldest boys going on 5 years now. The boys are built completely different and as expected, play different sports. The eldest plays football and baseball while the middle son is basketball only (except he does track but doesn’t profess to that). The workouts, education and most importantly the care our boys and family have received from the Garza’s goes well beyond the money we’ve spent for their SKP program.
The boys came to the Garza’s with some athleticism and a good work ethic but lacking direction or any real knowledge of their bodies. They didn’t know how to work out or more specifically, how to work out properly. They didn’t know about sports nutrition and how to correctly feed their bodies in preparation for or after athletic competition. Our boys didn’t realize that it’s the everyday little things that separate the good athletes from the great athletes, the high school player from the college player and the star player from the superstar player. All these things and so much more they’ve learned form the Garza’s.
For all the effort our boys have put into becoming the best athlete they can, the Garza’s have doubled that effort. Creating new sport specific workouts, connecting us with the right people and organizations and following through with everything they’ve ever said to us. They’ve given our boys the opportunity to play wth and against the best competition in both baseball and basketball through their D1 organization. We’ve seen some of the best baseball players and the most ridiculously athletic basketball players in the country. Our boys will have the chance to play college sports because of the knowledge and efforts put forth by TJ and Dana Garza.
Many organizations talk about family, use it in their sales literature and even have little sayings with the word but few, if any, of them actually follow through with it. The Garza’s absolutely and unequivocally do! You don’t have to take our word for it, just ask our boys. Or better yet, read our eldest son’s college application where he lists TJ Garza as one of the two people in his life he looks up to most. TJ is their coach, father figure and their friend. Dana has healed their injuries, made them more flexible than we ever thought possible and most importantly, loved them.
We have three younger children that will all be partaking in SKP. We trust the Garza’s with our children and know that with their guidance, our kids will become the best athletes they can. Thank you Garza’s for creating SKP and being the best coaches and guides to our children.

The interesting thing about SKP and about D1Nation is the concept of a partnership with a customer centric view of the business. Far too often I find that these “select programs” are centered around collecting your money, signing you up for “lessons” and a bunch of tournaments. This program focuses on the kids, their development and their goals. TJ and his staff listen, they ask for feedback and they are willing to make changes for the betterment of the program. I like that about them and the atmosphere they are trying to develop. This is an up and coming program that is going to set a higher bar and a new standard within our community.
